11-18-2007 ***SV Speedway now has LIVE VIDEO STREAMING video only no sound as of yet. We will have a number of cameras on all three of our tracks. There is a chat room on the video site. 11-18-2007 ***We hosted the NATC 5th scale Finals this weekend. We ran three rounds of qualifying on Saturday and one round on sunday. As for the finals we had 8 finals consisting of 3 Motorcycle A mains, F1 A main, Touring Car A main, Super Touring Car C main with 2 bump ups, Super Touring Car B main with 2 bump-ups,(best & closest race of the day) and 10 car A-maim. 8-15-2007 *** Last night I talked with Carlton Epps at RC Pro and we are hosting race #2 of the RC Pro Series West On-road. The two day race will be on September 22-23, 2007, so mark your calenders. I will post more imformation as I get it. You can download the .pdf entry form by clicking on the flyer to the top left.
8-15-2007...This past Sunday (8-12-07) we hosted round #2 of the KO Propo Championship Series race. It was a huge success with 58 entries in four classes. The classes are 1:10 Sportsman & Pro, 1:8 Sportsman & Pro. the whole program ran very smoothly with very few glitches. I would like to thank every one that came out and either participated in the racing or the organization. I would like to thank Notch for his great announcing skills. With Notch announcing, it gave me time to concentrate more on timing & scoring. You can view the results by clicking on the link to the left. The next Ko Propo Series race #3 will be hosted by Crystal Park Raceway on 8-26-07. It's not too late to enter, just download the flyer (at left) and bring it with you to the race.
7-22-2007...We hosted the NATC race #6 today. There were 27 drivers in 4 classes. The Super Touring Car class is getting very large with 16 drivers. We ran a "B" main with 2 bump-ups to the "A" main. See the results by clicking on the results tab to the left.
The REVISED ON-ROAD SCHEDULE has been posted (link on sidebar). Some of the races on the schedule will be run at CRYSTAL PARK.
*** The RC PRO ON-ROAD SERIES will be on Sept. 22-23, 2007..... please mark your calender. More information to come.
We are still waiting to confirm the dates for the PURSUIT ON-ROAD CHALLENGE II. As soon as I get more information (confirmed dates & flyers) I will post them here and on the race schedule.
7-14-2007...The REVISED ON-ROAD SCHEDULE has been posted (link on sidebar). Some of the races on the schedule will be run at CRYSTAL PARK. The dates for the RC Pro On-road Series might change. I need input from the racers that are planning to race the RC Pro On-road. We need to decide what dates will be ideal for the best driver/racer turnout. This RC Pro Series race is a 2 day event. The two weekends that are open are Aug.18-19, or Sept.22-23. You can E-mail me with your choice as to what might be best. The Aug. dates are between the KO Propo Points races #2 & #3, and the Sept. dates are the weekend after the KO Series Final.

7-03-2007...New So Cal Dirt Oval at SV Speedway
We are pleased to announce that we have been putting in a Dirt Oval.
The tracks over all area will be 110’X 60’, 15’ wide lanes and 20 degrees of banking.
Our GRAND OPENING will be Sat. July 7, 2007. The track opens @ 3:00pm. SEE YA THERE!

7-01-2007...Flyer for the KO Propo Championship Points Series was posted today. You will need Adobe Reader to access the flyer. Brian Thomas has asked everyone to either print out the flyer and bring it with you to the first race or email him your info. If you e-mail me I will give you Brian's e-mail address.
6-24-2007...Today we had our first club race on the new surface. The results can be found on our results page. We had 38 entries for 5 classes that included, 10th amateur, 10th expert, 8th amateur, 8th novice & 8th expert. I believe everyone had a good time, dispite the rumors of a dirty, dusty track. Kelvin and others worked very hard this am to prep the track and did a great job. When we started to practice in the morning the track was very cold and the traction was very high(some cars were trying to traction roll). As the temp came up the track really started to come around. We had our share of technical difficulties but all in all it was a very good day.
With a very generous donation from Terry Desouza ($$ & labor), our on-road track has been resurfaced and is in the process of getting a much needed paint job. Again, Thanks to Terry we had our first race on the new surface. From what everyone said the track is hooked up. We raced 10th, 8th, & 5th scale. The tire wear for the 8th scale (30 min. A main) was between 1.8-2.0 mm. The drivers from Revelation & Crystal Park were happy with surface & layout. The results are posted on the results page.
The track lighting has been redone with white lights and refocused for the short layout. The track looks awesome at night.
The race schedules for the Off-Road & On-Road tracks are posted. you can get to them from this page by clicking on the link in the sidebar. The schedules will change as we add new races. I have been talking to Steve W. from RC PRO On-Road about getting one of his races, possibly in August.
On the HOBBY SHOP page you will find the new track hours, cost of membership, and prices for member & non-member racing & practice. Also you can watch some video clips including a small video clip of some of the action from the Pursuit On-Road Challenge on may 12-13 2007. New clips will be added from time to time. There are two different resolutions Medium & high. Most people will be able to watch the med. res videos. The high res video is clear and the sound is good (fast computer recommended). Do not download/play the videos if you have dial-up internet. I have to work on the medium rez videos as they are a bit jumpy.
